New digital series for Channel 4

Comedians are to take part in ‘fun and messy eating challenges’ for a new Channel 4 series.

Provisionally titled Comedians v Food, the short-form clips will be distributed over the broadcaster’s social media channels.

No participants have yet been named for the project, but ‘high profile’ names have been promised.

The series is being made by  Rockerdale Studios, which also just announced it is making a second series of the Rosie Jones travelogue Mission: Accessible for Channel 4.

The broadcaster’s digital commissioning executive Joe Churchill ordered the new series.
