Travel-based show with Jools Holland

Vic Reeves has made a new podcast series with Jools Holland.

Under his real name, Jim Moir, the comic and his musician pal will invite guests to share their favourite travel tales. 

Episode one of Jools And Jim’s Joyride, which has been released today, features Reeves’s comedy partner Bob Mortimer, who stories about the time he had a gun pointed at him in LA and an awkward run-in with Michael Jackson's entourage.

All three of them briefly formed Gentleman’s Motorcycle Club with rules including raising your helmet whenever you pass a lady.

Next week’s episode will feature Jane Horrocks, with Jessie Ware, Damon Hill and  Sally Phillips among the future guests.

Moir said: ‘Everyone has fascinating and funny stories about their travels. Each episode Jools and I gently prise them out of our guest and present them to you.’
