London gets a new podcast festival
London is to get a new podcast festival featuring the likes of Katherine Ryan, Bebe and Jessie Cave and Barry Dodds and Ian Boldsworth.
Podcast Stop will take place at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in February and March 2021 and has been organised by leading international promoters Live Nation.
Confirmed podcasts include:
- Telling Everybody Everything with Katherine Ryan
- We Can’t Talk About That Right Now with Bebe and Jessie Cave
- The Socially Distant Sports Bar with Elis James, Mike Bubbins and Steff Garrero
- When No One’s Watching with Matt Richardson and Matt Willis
- The Guilty Feminist with Deborah Frances-White
- Spooktown with guests All Killa No Filla, from Ed Easton and Kath Hughes
- Parapod with Barry Dodds and Ian Boldsworth
- Rice To Meet You with Nigel Ng and Evelyn Mok
Live Nation comedy promoter Anna Cooke said ‘The UK podcast market is exciting and vibrant. We are delighted to be launching this festival and presenting some great shows. We expect to be announcing more live podcasts over the next few weeks.’
The Kings Place venue in Kings Cross launched its London Podcast Festival in 2016, which has been attended by 10,000 visitors so far.
Tickets for Podcast Stop go on sale next Friday.
