Bill Bailey wows Strictly judges

Bill Bailey scored a hugely impressive 26 points on Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

It was the show’s Hollywood week theme, so he and professional partner Oti Mabuse danced the paso doble to Ennio Morricone’s theme to The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.

Craig Revel Horwood gave the pair an eight, with Shirley Ballas, and Motsi Mabuse each awarding nine - giving them the second highest score of the night.

Calling the dance an ‘entertaining Movie Week highlight’ Motsi loved Bill’s character, saying:  ‘I got that vibe that I’m not here to play, I’m here to paso….’

Craig predicted Bailey could make the final, while Shirley gushed their pas doble ‘had everything, it had focus… it searched forward, it backed off, it stayed connected.’

‘You are extraordinarily fantastic,’ she told Bailey.

The score follows a strong 24 points the comic and Oti scored in in last week's show.
