Jon Richardson joins Chortle Comedy Book Festival
Jon Richardson has joined the Chortle Comedy Book Festival.
The star will be interviewing fellow comedian Matt Forde on his new book Politically Homeless, about his time as a Labour adviser and his love of politics.
The pair have a long friendship, previously making podcasts and the three-part Channel 4 series Jon Richardson Grows Up together.
Forde’s book even includes an anecdote about the time the TV comic attended a police interview with him, lending moral support when a politician Forde was working for had been accused of corruption (falsely, it transpired).
The friends will be reunited for a virtual session at 9pm on November 16, part of a week-long series of events that also features Frank Skinner, Richard Herring, Adam Buxton, Laura Lexx, Gary Delaney, Helen Lederer and so many more.
