Episodes to be screened in London

Taskmaster fans are being given the chance to see the new series before anybody else.

The first season to be aired on Channel 4 is to be shown over three sessions at a central London cinema, starting this Friday.

Audience reactions will be taped - in audio only - to be dubbed over the footage, as this is the first series where the results of the tasks will not be revealed in front of a live studio audience, because of Covid-19 restrictions.

Greg Davies returns as Taskmaster and Alex Horne as his sidekick, with contestants  Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.

Tickets for the screenings are free, but there will be restrictions on attending - including the requirement to wear a mask.
