Tommy Tiernan to release a book of interviews
Tommy Tiernan is to release a book based on his hit Irish talk show.
In his RTE programme, the comedian doesn't know who his guests are until they walk into the studio.
Now some of the best interviews - including material that did not make the TV screen - is being compiled into a new book, Winging It.
Guests over the three series of the show, which started in 2017, have included President Michael D. Higgins, Sharon Horgan and Adam Clayton of U2 - as well as lesser-known figures such as autism awareness activist Ciara-Beth Ní Ghríofa and geneticist Aoife McLysaght.
Publisher Penguin Ireland describes the collection of 21 of the conversations as 'a mix of the profound, the profane, the funny and the moving'.
Tiernan has also written an introduction to the book.
It will be released on October 29. Order it here.
