Suzi Ruffell plays the O2 (roof)
For comedians, a gig the O2 is the pinnacle of their career – now Suzi Ruffell is to become the first stand-up to perform ON TOP of the London landmark.
The comic is to stage six gigs on top of the structure, with the audience walking up the outside of the 170ft (52m) attraction by one of the venue’s guides.
She said: ‘The O2 is such an iconic venue for comedy so I’m very excited to be playing on the roof. think it’s going to be a lot of fun.’
There will be two shows a night on Saturdays September 19, 26 and October 3, with tickets priced £40 including a mocktail - only £3 more than it usually costs to ascend the building.
Organisers said: ‘With the Fringe Festival unfortunately cancelled this year, Stand Up at The O2 is the perfect alternative for those seeking their comedy fix.’
Tickets can be purchased through The O2’s booking website here.
