Comedians join the Celebrity Karaoke Club
Joel Dommett, Judi Love and impressionist Luke Kempner are to take part in ITV2s’ latest singing show, Celebrity Karaoke Club.
The comedians will be among seven celebrities who has to impress the other competitors – with one being sent home each week.
Others taking part in the series, due to air this autumn, include genuine singers Diana Vickers – who topped the charts with her debut single Once in 2010 – and Tallia Storm, who was already a relatively successful singer-songwriter before she found wider fame on X Factor,
The other contestants are Scarlett Moffatt, drag queens Courtney Act and Baga Chipz, radio presenter Roman Kemp, Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts, presenter Melvin Odoom, Towie’s Jessica Wright, and Love Island's Samira Mighty
Paul Mortimer, ITV’s head of digital channels, said: ‘The cast of celebs will be well-known to ITV2's audience, though not necessarily for their singing. However, they are sure to entertain viewers with some impressive and hilarious performances this autumn.’
