Sketch duo's Audible series packed with guest stars

Comedy duo The Pin are making a mockumentary series for Audible.

The Special Relationship will revolve around the pair - Alex Owen and Ben Ashenden - playing a fictionalised version of themselves as misguided British sketch comedians trying to make it in America.

Guest stars will include Cecily Strong, Fred Armisen, Jamie Demetriou, John Reynolds, Kate Berlant, Lolly Adefope, Sally Phillips, Janine Harouni and Charly Clive.

The series, to launch next month, is said to mix live sketches with the documentary storyline, and include satirical reference to a Britain trying to ‘go it alone’ after Brexit.

Deadline first reported the news, subsequently confirmed by the pair on Twitter.
