Mr Show team to reunite

For an online charity event

The stars of cult US sketch programme Mr Show are to reunite for an online charity gig.

Bob Odenkirk – now best known as the star of Better Call Saul – and Arrested Development’s David Cross have got their gang back together for a virtual event next Wednesday.

Also taking part are Paul F. Tompkins, Scott Aukerman, Tom Kenny, Jill Talley, Jay Johnston, Brian Posehn, Brett Paesel, and John Ennis.

They were all regulars on the influential show, which ran for four seasons on HBO from 1995 to 1998. Odenkirk and Cross followed it up with a Netflix series W/ Bob & David in 2015.

Their composer Eban Schletter is also coming back to provide the music for the one-off, which is raising money for anti-poverty charity Lift.

It will air on Zoom at 8pm New York time next Wednesday (or 1am Thursday UK time). Tickets priced $12.20  (£9.85) are available here.
