MO GILLIGAN'S ALL STAR HAPPY HOUR: The comic joins the ranks of those broadcasting from home with what’s billed as a ‘joyful mix of high-energy comedy, music and one-of-a-kind games, as members of the public go head to head with famous faces in a quest to win amazing prizes’.  Guests appearing in the first episode include Sharon Osbourne, footballer Jesse Lingard and singer Shaggy.  Channel 4, 10pm

ROB & ROMESH VS… The comics hit the road again, starting with a visit to the Birmingham Royal Ballet Company who put them through their paces as they find out the hard way just how tough ballet is before appearing in a real performance of Swan Lake. MY TEENAGE DIARY: Rufus Hound returns for a new series, starting with Shazia Mirza talking about growing up as a Muslim girl in 1990s Birmingham as well as reading those all-important journal entries. Radio 4, 6.30pm

BRASSIC: Sky’s hit comedy-drama returns for a second run of shady escapades in the fictitious rural Lancashire town of Hawley. In the first episode, the lads plot to rob a travelling circus with the help of a disgruntled clown, Mr Popov, played by John Thomson. Sky One, 10pm

Friday May 8

MODERN FAMILY:  After 11 seasons, we’re almost at the end of the road for the adventures of the Dunphy-Pritchett-Tucker clan, with the half of the two-part series finale. Sky One, 8.30pm

THE LAST LEG: LOCKED DOWN UNDER: The show returns, but not quite in the way fans know it, thanks to lockdown, with Adam Hills in Melbourne, Josh Widdicombe  in London and  Alex Brooker in Huddersfield.  Kathy Burke and Rob Beckett will be dialling in from their homes, too. Channel 4,10pm
