Volume three to be published this autumn

Sir David Jason has written a third volume of his memoirs, to be published in October

According to publishers Century, A Del Of A Life: Lessons I’ve Learned, covers his 50-year career from trainee electrician to celebrated actor, sharing ‘heartfelt and hilarious wisdom… on subjects ranging from family to work, resilience to ebullience.’

Sir David said: ‘I really enjoyed reminiscing over my long and varied career for my first two books and it is rewarding to think that the readers will look forward to even more amusing stories and insights in A Del of a Life.’

His first autobiography, My Life, was published in 2013, which he followed up in 2018 with Only Fools And Stories. Between them, they have sold more than 750,000 copies.
