THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY IS 42: Radio 4 Extra’s celebrates Douglas Adams’s enduring sci-fi comedy with a five-hour spectacular, hosted by fans Dan Mersh and Helen Keen who introduce all six episodes from the first series from 1978. Alongside this, there will be an edition of Radio 4’s Bookclub with Adams and features and interviews with the likes of Professor Brian Cox, Robin Ince, Lucy Porter and the original Ford Prefect, Geoff McGivern. Radio 4 Extra will also broadcast all subsequent series of Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy every Saturday at 6pm, starting next weekend. Radio 4 Extra 8pm

MRS FLETCHER: This HBO import, based on the novel of the same name written by Tom Perrotta, stars Kathryn Hahn as a divorcée undergoing a mid-life crisis. When her son Brendan goes to college, she experiences sexual reawakening. The Guardian called it the most under-rated show on TV, saying it was in the same vein as Fleabag and praising its ‘wit, intelligence and remarkable central performance’..
