THE TRIP TO GREECE: Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon return in the fourth instalment of director Michael Winterbottom’s comedy road trips - this time on a gastronomic, island-hopping journey through Greece. They visit the most photogenic spots in Assos, Kavala, Stagira, Athens, Epidaurus, Hydra and Plyos – while locking horns over tragedy, comedy, myth, history, and Michael Cane impersonations. Sky One, 10pm.

SANDYLANDS: This three-part comedy mystery - airing over consecutive nights - boasts a star-studded cast that includes Sanjeev Bhaskar, David Walliams, Simon Bird and Hugh Bonneville. It revolves around Emily Verma (Natalie Dew) who considers herself a London sophisticate but is forced back to her seaside hometown when a  pedalo last hired by her estranged father, Les Vegas, washes up on the beach and he is declared officially lost at sea.

MARK WATSON TALKS A BIT ABOUT LIFE: The comedian ‘continues his probably doomed quest to make sense of the human experience’ in this new series, aided by Flo and Joan, and guests, starting with Lou Sanders. Each of the four episodes considers a different season of the year - and of life beginning, of course, with spring.  Radio 4, 6.30pm
