Sky gets more Intelligence
Sky has ordered a second series of David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed’s new comedy Intelligence, more than a week before the show starts.
In the show, the Friends star plays an ambitious maverick NSA agent, who joins the inept computer analyst, played by Mohammed, inside GCHQ.
Mohammed created the show, which has now been recommissioned for another six-part series,
Schwimmer said: ‘I am thrilled to continue to pretend to be important to National Security.’
Mohammed added, "I couldn’t be more delighted about setting off alarm bells inside GCHQ all over again."
Sky has also renewed Brassic – the comedy-drama starring Michelle Keegan, Damien Molony and co-creator Joseph Gilgun – for a third series.
The news was announced at Sky’s Up Next showcase industry event at the Tate Modern tonight.
