Jon Richardson announces new tour
Jon Richardson has announced a major autumn tour.
The comic will play at least 35 dates with his new show, The Knitwit, starting in Chester on September 8. Promoters Off The Kerb say more dates will be added over the coming months.
The news comes just before his new sitcom Meet The Richardsons hits TV screens. In the six-episode comedy, which starts on Dave on February 28, he stasrs alongside his wife and fellow stand-up Lucy Beaumont offering a fictional window in to their life in Hebden Bridge.
Richardson’s last tour, Old Man, toured the UK for 18 months between 2017 and 2018and was turned into a DVD to follow the earlier releases Funny Magnet in 2012 and Nidiot in 2014.
Tickets for The Knitwit go on general sale from 10am on Friday.
