Noel Fielding pilots new creativity gameshow
Noel Fielding is piloting a new TV show celebrating the creativity of celebrities.
In Creationism, guests will be challenged to show just how talented they are in the fields of art, music, poetry, storytelling and more.
But lest you think it is too serious, producers describe the entertainment format as ‘a ludicrous comedy competition’.
A pilot is being recorded in front of a studio audience in London next month, but few other details are known, including any possible broadcaster that might be attached.
However, the subject of the show plays to 46-year-old Fielding’s interests in art and music, as well as his newfound fan base who enjoy the creativity on display in The Great British Bake Off. Fielding has also been a contestant on Tasksmater, which requires a certain creative ingenuity in tackling the challenges.
News of Creationism comes days after his Bake-Off co-host Sandi Toksvig quit the Channel 4 show to pursue other projects.
The trial show will be taped on February 7 at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. Free tickets are available from Standing Room Only.
