'It wasn't a disaster'
Chris Ramsey scored a respectable 22 points on his third appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in Hollywood week.
Wearing tails, he and dance partner Karen Hauer danced the American Smooth (Foxtrot version) to Cheek To Cheek by Frank Sinatra from Top Hat.
Each judge awarded them six points, except Craig Revel Horworod who gave them just four.
To audeince boos, he criticised Ramsey's chin for being too far forward and his 'basketball hands', adding: 'I felt you were just walking through it and not dancing'
Motsi Mobuse thought it was a huge improvement on previous performances, but said that while she admired the personality he brought to the dancefloor, he had to work on his technique.
Shirley Ballas said he kept up with the music and didn't make a mistakes, 'so I thought you did quite well'.
Bruno Tonioli thought Chris had 'guts', saying the performance was 'like riding a bike to piloting a jet fighter in three weeks'. And that although they performed a dance everyone knew 'it wasn't a disaster'.
However the pair still have work to do, coming 11th out of 14 in the final leaderboard.
Ramsey tweeted tonight: 'So much love coming in... Means the world guys! I know I’m not a born dancer but I’m trying me best, getting immersed in the experience and having a proper laugh too. Thanks for voting if you did! '
