Comedians having Bad Time5
A raft of well-known comics including Rufus Hound, Omid Djalili, Tiff Stevenson and Phill Jupitus have shot an anthology of dark comedy stories from fellow stand-up Dave Fulton.
The British-based American comic wrote and directed the short film Bad Time5, which is now available on iTunes.
In the film, Fulton tells the stories of 'unusual, twisted and sometimes violent' people to Hound as they chew the fat in a garage.
A trailer gives a flavour of the stories. In one, Djalili is shown pulling a gun on a garage owner played by Michael Smiley,; while in another Stevenson and actress Juliet Cowan are seen manhandling what seems to be the corpse of a character played by fellow comic Andrew Maxwell.
In another story Jupitus plays a meter-reader, who gets held hostage when he calls at the home of a woman played by Comedy Store Player Josie Lawrence, who suspects he may be a bogus caller.
Elsewhere, Steve Furst plays a man uncomfortable about some bug-eyed neighbours who have moved in, while Roger Evans and Jo Hartley play a couple with a body in the cellar.
Fulton said he's already started work on his next short films as producers Shorts International have been impressed with the reaction to Bad Time5 so far.
The film is available here, priced £1.99 – and here is the trailer:
