Hard-learned advice to her young daughters

Ali Wong’s first book is to be released in the UK after publisher Canongate Books snapped up the rights.

Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets and Advice for Living Your Best Life takes the form of letters the US comedian wrote to her two daughters, and will now be published both sides of the Atlantic in October.

Wong recorded Netflix specials while heavily pregnant with both children. 

The publisher says that ‘the sharp insights and humour are even more personal’ in the book as she shares advice on dating and being a working mum in a male-dominated profession as well as stories about reconnecting with her roots in Vietnam and of being a wild child growing up in San Francisco.
