Rob Delaney to film a stand-up special

London recording for Catastrophe star

Rob Delaney is to film a stand-up special in London.

The co-creator of Channel 4 sitcom Catastrophe will be recording the special over two performances at the Hackney Empire in September.

It is not yet known which broadcaster or outlet will distribute the show, but his previous special, Live At The Bowery Ballroom, is available on Netflix and from Comedy Central Records.

Delaney last year made a scene-stealing appearance as Peter W in Deadpool 2, can currently be seen in Chris Addison’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake The Hustle and will soon appear opposite Charlize Theron in Fair & Balanced, about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. He also hosted the last series of Stand Up Central on Comedy Central UK.
