Frank Skinner joins Latitude
Frank Skinner, Marcus Brigstocke and Milton Jones have been added to the comedy line-up at the Latitude festival.
Skinner said he was looking forward to returning to the event in Henham Park, Suffolk, adding: ‘The last time I did Latitude, I saw Grace Jones live, hugged trees at 1.30 in the morning and had breakfast with Sir Peter Blake. The bar’s pretty high.’
He is the festival’s third comedy headliner, joining Michelle Wolf and Jason Manford – and takes to the stage ahead of a UK tour.
Also added to the bill today are Tiff Stevenson, Police Cops, Phoebe Walsh and Tom Parry.
The festival takes place from July 18 to 21.
Today’s announcement comes after Tania Harrison, who books the comedy and other arts stages for Latitude, as well as the Reading and Leeds festivals, is leaving organisers Festival Republic after 26 years.
The company said: ‘Tania has been an integral and innovative part of the company and has had a successful and award winning career with us.’
She said she would be collaborating with arts and cultural institutions on new projects, after leaving Festival Republic at the end of June.
