Katy Wix and Lolly Adefope join Ghosts
Katy Wix and Lolly Adefope have joined the cast of upcoming BBC One comedy Ghosts, from the team behind Horrible Histories.
The comics will play two of the spirits who haunt a crumbling manor house called Button Hall.
The others – including a Tory MP who died in embarrassing circumstances, a 'wilderness club leader' and a witch – are played by the show's creators Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond,
They haunt the new occupants, played by Fresh Meat’s Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe, an young urban couple who inherit the property
Tom Kingsley, who previously helmed Pls Like, Stath Lets Flats, will direct the six-part series, which is due to air on BBC One next year.
A Horrible Histories movie set in ancient Rome is also due out in July
It features a star-studded new cast including Nick Frost, Kim Cattrall, Rupert Graves, Sir Derek Jacobi, Kate Nash as Boudicca, Alex Macqueen, Sarah Hadland, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Dave Lamb, Jessica Ransom, Alexander Armstrong, Lee Mack, Warwick Davis, Lucy Montgomery, Jamie Demetriou, Tony Gardner and Kevin Bishop.
