Comic joins new classic radio station
Comic Faye Treacy has been unveiled as one of the presenters on new national classical music station Scala, which launched today.
She joins the likes of Simon Mayo, Goldie and Anthea Turner on the station’s roster.
Treacy – who is also a trombonist who studiedat the Royal Academy of Music – will host the 6pmt o 8pm slot on Saturdays and Sundays.
Treacy won best newcomer at the Musical Comedy Awards in 2015 – and is a member of the London Vegetable Orchestra, where she plays the butternut squash.
