Celebrity edition for Red Nose Day

 Omid Djalili and Russell Kane are to take part in the next series of Celebrity Apprentice.

The comics will face Lord Alan Sugar in the special two-part edition for Comic Relief.

Also on the boys’ team are football manager Sam Allardyce and broadcasters Richard Arnold and Rylan Clark-Neal.

While the girls’ team comprises  Amanda Holden, X Factor judge Ayda Williams, interior designer Kelly Hoppen, journalist Rachel Johnson and EastEnders and former Three Non Blondes star Tameka Empson.

It is the first time in a decade that the reality show has been given a celebrity makeover for Comic Relief. Two episodes will air on March 7, ahead of Red Nose Day on March 15.

The BBC released a short teaser trailer on Facebook, which revealed the contestants – and shows Alan Carr making a brief appearance.
