Radio 4 commissions another four episodes

Radio 4 comedy The Cold Swedish Winter is to return for a fifth series.

The show, about a London stand-up comic living in Sweden, and is recorded there with some of the country’s  most popular TV comedy actors, including Thomas Oredsson, Sissela Benn, Thomas Eriksson and Anna-Lena Bergelin, alongside Britain’s Adam Riches.

It first launched in 2014 and is wrtitten by  Danny Robins, whose wife is from the Scandinavian town of Eksjö. He revealed the recommission on Twitter, thanking comedy commissioner Sioned Wiliam and Radio 4 controller. Gwyneth Williams 

Then he added: ‘Right, I'm off to write 4 more eps not so loosely based on my own marriage…’
