Stars to pay tribute to Sean Hughes
Reece Shearsmith, Johnny Vegas and Peter Capaldi are taking part in a tribute gig to Sean Hughes next month.
Adam Hills is to compere the show, in which comedians and actors will read the poetry and prose of the comedian, who died last October at the age of 51.
Also taking part in It's What He Would Have Wanted will be comics Terry Alderton, Ben Bailey Smith (aka Doc Brown), Dave Cohen and Dave Fulton as well as actors Caroline Harker, Connie Hyde and Blair Plant, who all co-starred with Hughes in The Railway Children on stage, plus Elizabeth Heery and Ella Kenion.
The show will take place at the intimate Downstairs At The King's Head in Crouch End on December 10 . Tickets are £15 and proceeds will go to charities Hughes supported.
