Sara Pascoe pilots TV lecture show

Featuring a panel of guest comedians

Sara Pascoe is piloting a new TV show entitled Comedians Giving Lectures.

Ed Gamble, Dane Baptiste and Suzi Ruffell are to take part in a run-through of the format, in which they have to ‘venture into unchartered territory by giving an inspiring lecture on a random topic of her choice’.

Blurb for the show adds that ‘Powerpoints and pie charts have never been so much fun.’ 

No details have yet emerged about what production company is making the programme or what broadcaster is involved, if any.

The pilot is being taped in front of a studio audience at the suitably academic environment of Regent’s University in next Tuesday. Free tickets are available here.

Pascoe previously gave her own ‘lectures’ in the form of the Radio 4 series Modern Monkey, inspired by her book Animal, exploring  our modern social world through theories of evolutionary psychology,
