
Cast revealed for the Horrible Histories movie
...and it's packed full of familiar comedy names
Nick Frost, Kim Cattrall Rupert Graves and Kate Nash have joined the cast of the Horrible Histories movie.
Also taking part are The Thick Of It’s Alex Macqueen, comedians Alexander Armstrong, Lee Mack, Warwick Davis, Lucy Montgomery, Kevin Bishop Dustin Demri-Burn, Chris Addison, Dan Renton Skinner, Katy Wix and even Sir Derek Jacobi reprising his title role from I, Claudius.
Production has just started on the big-screen outing, Rotten Romans, which will hit cinemas on July 26 next year.
Sebastian Croft stars as teenage Roman Atti, captured by Celtic warrior Orla (Emilia Jones) after being forced to join the Roman army.
The cast, revealed today, includes Horrible Histories regulars Sanjeev Bhaskar, Dave Lamb, Sarah Hadland, Jessica Ransom, Dominique Moore, Katy Wix, Tom Stourton, Richard David-Caine, Lawry Lewin, Katherine Jakeways.
Frost plays Orla's father Arghus and Cattrall plays Atti's mother Agrippina. Graves will appear as Governor General Paulinus.
Also in the cast are Samantha Spiro, Ella Smith, and Tim Downie.
