
Second radio award for Mark Steel
BBC honours Who Do You Think You Are? show
Mark Steel has won his second radio award in a week.
The comic’s Radio 4 show about his surprising family roots, Who Do I Think I Am? Scooped the best comedy production accolade at the BBC Radio & Music Awards.
It came days after he scooped the Chortle radio award for his show Mark Steel’s In Town, featuring custom-written stand up for various locations around the UK.
The BBC ceremony also honoured Nicholas Parsons with their gold award for hosting Just A Minute for five decades. Regular panellist Paul Merton handed over the award.
