Gold serves up a Dinnerladies documentary
Out picks of a relatively quiet week for new comedy on TV and radio.

He plays British road repairman Norman Pitkin (of course) who is mistakenly parachuted into Nazi occupied France where he is mistaken for the local German commandant, whom he resembles (and indeed also plays). Talking Pictures TV, 3.50pm. Also at 7.45pm on Tuesday.
THE LAST LEG WINTER PARALYMPICS SPECIAL: The series heads back to its Paralympics roots, rounding up the day’s action from South Korea with Adam Hills, Alex Brooker, Josh Widdicombe and guest Noel Fielding. Channel 4, 10pm
Wednesday March 14
THE DINNERLADIES DIARIES: To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Victoria Wood’s sitcom, the Gold channel commissioned this three-part documentary. It features never before seen footage of the making of Dinnerladies, as well as an archive interview with Victoria herself. Plus among the talking heads, four of the original cast members, Andrew Dunn, Shobna Gulati, Anne Reid and Thelma Barlow meet up to reminisce….Gold, 8pm
