Miles Jupp is Famously Unfit
Miles Jupp is to take part in a new TV show – all about how unfit he is.
The comedian and host of Radio 4’s News Quiz is one of the celebrities taking part in BBC Two’s Famously Unfit… for Sport Relief alongside Les Dennis; fashion writer Susannah Constantine and EastEnders actress Tameka Empson.
The show will follow them over ten weeks as they run, row and swim their way back to fitness, ending in them tackling a tough, muddy obstacle course in freezing temperatures.
Helping them on their way will be Olympian and sports scientist Professor Greg Whyte and Dr Zoe Williams, presenter of BBC Two’s Trust Me, I’m A Doctor.
Comic Relief chief executive Liz Warner, said: ‘Sport Relief is about all of us doing something active to help raise money for brilliant causes. But these celebrities have gone the extra mile - literally - and put their bodies publicly through extreme rigour. We can only celebrate their bravery, watch in awe and donate.’
The show will air during the week of Sport Relief in March.
