Angus Deayton takes Radio Active on tour
Angus Deayton is taking his career-making 1980s comedy Radio Active on tour.
He will be joined by the original cast of Helen Atkinson-Wood, Michael Fenton Stevens and Philip Pope for the ten dates.
The team first revived the Radio 4 show – which Deayton wrote with the late Geoffrey Perkins – at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.
Radio Active began as part of the Oxford Revue show in 1979, before transferring to Radio 4 in 1980, where it ran for 53 episodes over seven years. The show was later adapted by BBC Two, where it became KYTV.
The new dates are in April and May next year – and the full schedule is here.
