Half-hour performance for The Standups series

Gina Yashere is to film a half-hour stand-up special for Netflix.

The British comic, now based in the States, will take her set in Los Angeles for the second series of The Standups.

She is one of six comedians taking part. The others are Rachel Feinstein, Kyle Kinane, Aparna Nancherla, Joe List and Brent Morin.

The  series is set to launch sometime next year and follows series 1 which was released in July.

Acts in that first batch were Nate Bargatze, Deon Cole, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, Dan Soder and Beth Stelling.
