...or at least tries, for a new ITV2 series

Keith Lemon is to try to crack America in a new mockumentary for ITV2.

Over the six-part series, which is due to air next year, he will travel to Los Angeles to try to land his own US talk show. 

Producers TalkBack say: ‘After all, if James Corden can do it, why not Keith Lemon?’

Guest stars on Keith Lemon: Coming In America will include Sharon and Jack Osbourne, pictured, Emma Bunton, John Barrowman and Gene Simmons

Creator Leigh Francis will also be performing in the guise of some of his other characters including The Urban Fox, The Big Fat Gypsy Kardashians and David Dickinson – as well as introducing some new ones.

Talkback’s managing director Leon Wilson said: ‘To make it in Hollywood you need grit, determination, ambition and confidence, all qualities Keith has in abundance.’

And ITV’s Paul Mortimer added: "Keith Lemon defines entertainment on ITV2 and his latest adventure in the USA is as outrageously funny as anything he's done for the channel previously.’
