Series 5 coming later this year

Nish Kumar, Sally Phillips Bob Mortimer, Aisling Bea and Mark Watson are to be the contestants on the next series of Taskmaster.

TV channel Dave announced the line-up at the end of season 4, which ended tonight with Noel Fielding crowned the winner.

The challenges for the next season - again fronted by Greg Davies in Alex Horne - have already been filmed for broadcast later this year, with the studio segments to be recorded next month.

A sixth series has not as yet been confirmed, but Taskmaster is the highest rated UKTV series of the year, peaking at 945,000 viewers, consolidated over all broadcasts.

A US remake is also on the cards with Reggie Watts in the Greg Davies role and creator Horne continuing to set the challenges.
