Gimme Kimmy

The week's best comedy on demand

This week's best comedy shows on demand.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

The Tina Fey-created sitcom returns, with the childlike country girl (Ellie Kemper) still trying to navigate modern-day New York. And now she goes to college, finding herself in a class of heart-on-their-sleeve liberal students.

Early reviews have criticised the sitcom for not advancing its characters much – but with snappy dialogue, sharp jokes and a cast who relish their wacky, over-the-top roles, that is unlikely to deter fans.

Vic Reeves Big Night Out

With the exciting news that the seminal Nineties comedy is coming back for a one-off on the BBC, why not spin, spin, spin the wheel of justice, find out what's on the end of the stick and get the lowdown from Morrissey The Consumer Monkey with the original episodes, all 15 of which are available on All4 here

Futurama

Sky boasts that the first 10 series of Futurama were put up on Sky Box Sets and Now TV on Thursday… which is interesting as there have only been seven series. But then again Matt Groening's animated comedy IS about time travel…

Luisa Omielan's What Would Beyonce Do?

This unique stand-up show: Part party, confessional monologue and part empowering rallying cry was screened on BBC One last night. If you missed it, it's online here

The Three Track Podcast

This is a sort of mini-Desert Island Discs – well, it still runs for just an hour, but there are just three tracks – hosted by comedian and resident music obsessive Gabriel Ebulue. Guests pick their favourites, 'from niche B-sides to the most ubiquitous chart hits, and discuss every beat in intricate detail'.

Dane Baptiste is this week's guests and previously the likes of Nish Kumar, John Kearns and Jamali Maddix have shared their musical tastes. Listen on iTunes
