Time-travelling adventure follows Radio 2 show

Tim Vine is piloting a version of his time-travelling show for TV.

A trial episode of Tim Vine Travels In Time aired on Radio 2 in March, in with the pun-loving comedian going back to the days of Robin Hood, who was played by Ben Fogle.

Now the same premise is being used for a TV recording, to take place in front of an audience at Pinewood Studios on Tuesday June 20 and featuring an unnamed celebrity guest. Producers say ‘it'll be Tim's usual gag-packed style.’

Vine’s agent confirmed a broadcaster was attached, but would not reveal any more details.
