Miranda Hart's new TV show - with her mum
Miranda Hart is to appear in a new gardening show – with her mother.
In Down The Garden Path with Dee Hart Dyke, the comic’s 77-year-old mum will travel around the UK perfecting gardens and visiting celebrity homes.
Meanwhile Hart will stay at home and attempt to improve her own garden. She will also narrate the three hour-long episodes for More 4.
However, she has downplayed her involvement, tweeting: ‘I am doing the voiceover and have a little cameo. It's my Mum's show and all the better for it.’
The programme is to be made by King Bert Productions, the company Hart set up with David Walliams.
Hart told The Sun: ‘I may not know a thing about how to garden but my mum is amazing. She fills me with immense joy and laughter as she talks about her passion. The innuendos in gardening never seem to stop.’
The comedian previously appeared with her mum on a charity edition of Gogglebox, pictured, along with her 'TV mum' Patricia Hodge.
