Teaching an old sloth new tricks
This week's best comedy shows on demand.
Babysitting Trevor
Comedy pals Carl Donnelly and Chris Martin are already well-known for their podcast together. But now they have now launched a new series in which they aim to help fellow comedian Trevor Crook do something with his life 'as the world has passed him by in the last few years'.
Donnelly describes Crook as the 'laziest, most Australian man on the planet' – but also one of the funniest. And he describes as 'unmotivated' and 'a sloth'.
In week one they send him to a yoga lesson and persuade him to write a poem for his wife Julia.
In subsequent episodes they take Trevor to the zoo, introduce him to modern art and go to the gym.
'We had him on our regular podcast and our listeners really enjoyed the dynamic between the three of us, Donnelly told Chortle. 'Chris and I being the archetypal vegan, yoga practising modern men and Trev being the most Aussie old-school bloke alive.
'So we thought we'd see what happened if we tried to get him to expand his horizons.'
The first episode was released on Thursday and is available on iTunes here.

This documentary, directed by Daily Show producer Sara Taksler, tells his story and shows the stresses his new career places on himself and his family.
It has just been added to Netflix. Watch here – and here is a trailer:
