Comic joins Alex Jones tonight

Jon Richardson is to become a One Show host.

The comedian will be a guest presenter on tonight’s BBC One early-evening magazine show, alongside regular host Alex Jones.

Guests on the live broadcast will include Nicole Scherzinger talking about her role in Disney's new animated film Moana, and Busted, who play their latest single. 

Richardson is not the first comedian to have guest-hosted the show - Ed Byrne, Al Murray, Sarah Millican, Jo Brand and Omid Djalili are among those who have previously sat on the sofa.

The show airs at 7pm and will serve to promote Richardson 2017’s tour, The Old Man. Dates and tickets.
