Jimmy Carr set to be a TV judge

New show seeks plaintiffs and defendants

Jimmy Carr is to judge real-life disputes in a new TV show now being developed.

The stand-up will offer a comic take on the likes of Judge Rinder and Judge Judy in the programme, inevitably titled Judge Jimmy.

Producers Hungry Bear Media are currently casting for people with gripes to appear on the show and are seeking those who feel they were treated unfairly, in the middle of a feud, or paid for something they are unhappy with.

Suggested disputes have a comic bent, asking: 'Are you a victim of a pet taxidermy gone wrong?', 'Did your Dad spend your student loan on a new head of hair?' or 'Is your agent not getting you enough work as an Adele lookalike?'

And they warn: 'Do not apply unless you have a sense of humour.'

Hungry Bear's other TV shows include Michael McIntyre's Big Show, Alan Carr's Happy Hour and Virtually Famous.
