Fleabag up for US gongs
Fleabag and its creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge are up for two Critics’ Choice Awards in the States.
The show, originally made for BBC Three, is eligible for the US awards as it is available on Amazon Prime.
It has been shortlisted for best comedy series alongside Atlanta, Black-ish, Modern Family, Silicon Valley, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Veep.
Waller-Bridge is also up for best actress in a comedy against Ellie Kemper for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt; Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep; Kate McKinnon for her portrayal of Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live; Tracee Ellis Ross for Black-ish and Constance Wu for Fresh Off the Boat.
