Another Bafta for Mrs Brown's Boys

MRS BROWN’S BOYS has won the comedy and entertainment category of the Scottish Baftas for the second year running, ahead of fellow nominees Scot Squad and Two Doors Down. The show is made in the BBC’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow.

THE LEICESTER comedy festival has announced its programme for next year, featuring more than 770 events across the 19 days from February 8. Highlights include Jimmy Carr, Johnny Vegas, Ken Dodd, Sarah Millican, Stewart Lee, Sue Perkins, James Acaster, Adam Buxton Buxton paying tribute to David Bowie and an interview with Romesh Ranganathan. The complete programme is available Josh Pugh was named comedian of the year by Liverpool’s Hot Water comedy club last night. He previously won the Midlands new act of the year competition in both 2014 and 2015.
