BBC confirms comedian line-ups

The BBC has confirmed the broadcast date and line-ups of the new series of Live At The Apollo.

The stand-up show will return to BBC Two for its 12th series, starying at 10pm on Tuesday November 8.

Sarah Millican hosts the first episode with guests Tom Allen and Arj Barker

Other line-ups are:

Frankie Boyle with Jack Carroll and Holly Walsh

Joe Lycett with Ivo Graham and Phil Wang

Josh Widdicombe with Celia Pacquola and Nathan Caton

Adam Hills with Jamali Maddix and Michelle Wolf

Gina Yashere with Ellie Taylor and Sam Simmons

•  Romesh Ranganathan with Kerry Godliman, Seann Walsh and Spencer Jones

These are not necessarily in the order the shows will be broadcast, but Ranganathan’s show will be the Christmas one.

The shows were recorded live in front of an audience of more than 3,500 people at London’s Hammersmith Apollo earlier this month.

The show is made by Open Mic Productions, whose sister company Off The Kerb represents Allen, Graham, Widdicombe, Caton, Hills, Ranganathan and Walsh.

Last year’s series – the first to air on BBC Two – attracted around a million viewers per episode, about half of the audience it was getting on BBC One the previous year. At its peak it would attract about 4million.
