COLD FEET star John Thomson and comedian Justin Moorhouse are to take part in Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live. They will check in on Thursday, for the first night of the show on the W channel, Joining them will be singer Jamelia, and Olympians Jack Laugher and Will Satch. Others appearing over the five nights will include The Kennedys writer Emma Kennedy, actress Sally Lindsay and TV host Matt Johnson. Comic Matt Richardson is one of the co-hosts.

VENTRILOQUIST Jeff Dunham has announced five new UK dates. The short 2017 tour, entitled Perfectly Imbalanced, will be his fifth UK tour and the first since 2014 and promises both old and new characters. Dunham, one of the most financially successful comedians in the word and creator of Achmed The Dead Terrorist, will kick off the run at Cardiff's St David's Hall on May 20. Dates are here, and tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday.

TIM MINCHIN'S Groundhog Day is up for best musical at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards, with star Andy Karl up for best actor. The musical category is voted on by audience members, and all the winners are announced on November 13.

THE COMEDIAN who glassed a heckler in Hong Kong has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for the attack. Gary Jackson had claimed he acted in self-defence as he believed he was going to be hit by the man, who had taken offence at a perceived racist joke. Jackson told the Hong Kong Free Press he had now quit comedy.

VIC REEVES is putting some of his artwork up for sale. The paintings and potteries will go on display at Westenhanger Auction Galleries, next to Folkestone Racecourse near Hythe in Ken from November 7 to 13. Those not sold for the asking price will be auctioned off on the last day. The gallery says: 'Vic has been enjoying a recent spurt of inspiration,which has resulted in some of his finest, and occasionally most avant garde work.'
