New tour for Russell Brand
Russell Brand has unveiled a new tour.
But just nine dates of his new show, Exposed, have gone on sale, almost all in the south-east of England.
The autobiographical show will compare his former wild days to his ‘new-found spiritual self and question whether he really is spiritually enlightened or just having a mental breakdown.’
The comedian appears on the Jonathan Ross show tomorrow to talk about how he’s settling down at the age of 41, and becoming a father for the first time.
‘I’ve accepted the idea that that person will be more important than me,’ he tells the chat-show host. ‘"Jesus Three"’ I’m thinking of calling him or her. We don’t know the gender I may not even ever impose a gender upon it, let the child grow up and be the whatever the hell it is, never tell it there is such a concept.’
Brand proposed to his girlfriend Laura Gallacher last summer, and said of the proposal: ‘I cried at my own beauty. You know when you think ‘I’m being so nice now, Oh God I think I’m going to cry’ because you’re impressed with how nice you are…’
Brand’s new live dates kick off in Nottingham on November 6 and end in Folkestone on December 12. All tickets went on sale at 10am, except Bath on November 14, which will be available from 1pm.
