FORD KIERNAN and Greg Hemphill have announced five more dates for their next run of Still Game at Glasgow's SSE Hydro. The cast will now perform the show on February 12, 14, 15 and 16, in addition to the preceding week, which was previously announced. Tickets for the new shows go on sale at 5pm today.

DAVID WALLIAMS has revealed that his next children's book will be called The Midnight Gang. 'It is by far my most ambitious book, dealing with some serious themes in what I hope is an entertaining and amusing way,' he said. 'It tells the story of five children trapped in a hospital ward, who are all longing for adventure.' It is published by HarperCollins Children's Books on November 3 priced £12.99. Preorder.

COMMON SENSE, BBC Two's forthcoming Gogglebox-inspired comedy show in which real people comment on the news, has been sold to America. The NBC network has ordered a six-episode of the run from British production company Studio Lambert, before it airs in the UK.

TOMMY FORD, who played Tommy on Martin Lawrence's 1990s US sitcom Martin has died at the age of 52. He had reportedly suffered a ruptured aneurysm.
