Cops pull over zombies
Police responding to reports of a woman being assaulted in her car on the M62 were surprised at what they found when they pulled over the vehicle – zombies.
Not quite reanimated corpses, but two friends who had just been filming a zombie sitcom.
Diane Holden, 56, and Steve Lowe, 60, were still in full make-up, with all-white contact lenses and bloodied faces, and the 'really nice' policeman who pulled them over on Sunday night reportedly burst out laughing when he saw what was inside.

The officer said they had been driving around looking for the pair, following reports that a man was biting a woman in a car.
Lowe told the Manchester Evening News: 'The officer came back and we explained we had spent six hours filming Dead Town and he asked us if he could take a photo of us and tweet it as no one at the station would believe him!”
Holden said that she and Steve, along with their spouses, regularly dress up and act as zombie extras, and that they were pulled over on the M62 near Warrington after their second job of the weekend.
Dead Town is an independent project about a Runcorn factory worker-turned zombie slayer. Two episodes have so far been released online, attracting just over 10,000 views on YouTube.
